Mihira has been a National Gold Medalist in Swimming and is a Sports & Clinical Nutritionist. Her being a sports-person herself, helps her understand the sporting atmosphere, competitive training and mental make-up of the athletes she works with.
Mihira currently guides Grassroot to International athletes of various age groups particularly children from different sporting backgrounds such as swimming, cricket, football, athletics, cycling, badminton, squash etc.
With her base in clinical dietetics, she also specializes in weight management and therapeutic nutrition.
She is and has been associated with various organizations such as SwimIndia, SportsQ, Heal Institute and has successfully conducted research with different sports clubs for namely cricket, football and swimming.
Mihira is an avid writer on Health, Sports Nutrition & Lifestyle. She contributes rigorously to Websites, Magazines and occasionally lends quotes to leading newspapers.
Having been a topper throughout college, Mihira is extremely passionate about teaching and is a visiting faculty for Sports & Clinical Nutrition at Nirmala Niketan College of Home Science, Exercise Science Academy and Sophia Center for Women’s Studies. She has also been a subject matter expert for Fitness & Wellness for the book- Principles of Athletic Training.
She has been a speaker on health and nutrition at various schools, colleges as well as for organizations such as District Sports Organization (DSO), SwimIndia, to name a few.
Mihira continues to have a strong will to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals through her nutrition expertise and hopes for optimum health and improved performance.
